Living and dreaming seem like complete polar opposites. On one spectrum, we are fully ingested in the world as is − living and being at peace with the most beautiful and horrendous moments of reality. On another spectrum, we are creating these vast fantasies and imagination of the world we dream of − for it gives us the future we hope to have and the life we want to live. Our lives are often spent moving into close proximity to what we perceive the best versions of life to be. In other words, dreaming is our way of living in this day and age.

Dreaming brings us to the finishing line in the game of life. It is the bizarre and quirky fantasies, those that make people question and oftentimes belittle us that truly bring us to understand life as a whole. They give us a glimmer of hope that we crave for, that a change in the world around us is possible. Just having the belief that we can create an impact reminds us that we are − or rather, can − be important if we just believed in ourselves as we believed in our dreams. The power to incite a positive change in our life lies within our mind.

This is the reason we have created the concept of a Dream Girl this month. Over time, the pandemic has brought out different versions of ourselves. Some are good, some are bad while others just do not seem to have a place worthy in our lives. It is important to constantly be reminded that it is perfectly okay to have a dream and goal in life, no matter how impossible it may seem. Living in reality gives us the power to act accordingly, making that dream a reality. Know that although life seems unfair and beyond our control at times, our dream life is indeed possible.
