This Pinktober, we are giving you and your loved ones the opportunity to have a more balanced and centred daily routine. To show our support towards the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are excited to announce weekly virtual workshops that are sure to help you understand the importance of being more aware of both your physical and mental wellbeing!

Here is a rundown of 5 amazing workshops lined up throughout the month!

๐Ÿ’ญ Workshop 1 by Doris ๐Ÿ’ญ

Title: Conscious Breathwork For Body & Mind
Date: 3rd October 2021 (Sunday)
Time: 10AM - 11AM
Speaker: Doris Fan, seasoned professional physimental therapist and founder & director of Freedomy Academy

Fun fact: Our breathing technique can be trained to impact our body and mind hence we may actually have been breathing wrong all this while! Join us to understand the right breathing techniques for the human body & mind and learn how you can put your breathing in the centre of your daily routine. All you have to do is prepare a yoga mat and a scarf.

About our speaker: Doris Fan is a seasoned professional physimental therapist from Shanghai, China. She is the founder and director at Freedomy Academy and also a certified e-ryt yoga trainer, spinal physical therapist, hypnotherapist, voice healer and facilitator with a vast experience in integrated yoga and healing skills. Doris had been dedicating herself in the last 13 years to guide more than 5,000 clients in attaining better holistic wellness. She had also trained over 500 professional yoga teachers.

Doris is also an English- Chinese-Sanskrit trilingual instructor who is active in delivering her expertise across various provinces in China and across the borders to Spain and Malaysia. Her teachings are well integrated in the form of inner yoga training, mindful meditation and self-mastery workshops of various disciplines.

Title: Eat Consciously โ€“ The Art of Presence While Eating
Date: 12th October 2021 (Tuesday)
Time: 8PM
Speaker: Grace Lim, a certified nutrition coach, professional trainer and NLP & TLT practitioner

Grace will be speaking about the practice of conscious eating habits to reduce overeating and anxiety surrounding food hence improving your psychological relationship with food. Prepare any of your favourite snacks as we will guide you through meditation by mindfully snacking!

About our speaker: Grace Lim holds a Master's Degree in Health & Safety from University Malaya, Malaysia. She also studied Psychology of Eating from Harvard University, United States. On top of that, she is a Certified Nutrition Coach of Venice Nutrition, United States and a Certified Professional Trainer by Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC). She is also a Certified NLP Practitioner from ABNLP and a Certified TLT (TimeLine Therapyยฎ) Practitioner as well as an IRCA Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.

Grace has spent a dozen years in the learning and development industry, speaking alongside other keynote speakers from Singapore, United States and United Kingdom. Grace loves sharing her wellbeing and wellness knowledge with others as that has helped her tremendously with her physical and mental wellbeing.

Title: Pink Ribbon Mandala Drawing
Date: 22nd October 2021 (Friday)
Time: 8PM
Speaker: Chi Yan, graphic designer and the founder of A Random Place

We will be guiding you through the meaning and power of a Pink Ribbon Mandala drawing in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Learn how to draw this powerful piece of art to have a sense of certainty and clarity in your life as well as to show support towards this cause. We will also be showing you how to effectively use colours to help with self-healing and balance!

About our speaker: Chi Yan has enjoyed drawing and crafting since young as it had been her way of expressing herself while spreading joy and inspiration to those around her. Armed with a Graphic Design degree with over 10 years of experience in running her own printing house business, her creative journey has such a rich and colourful enrichment.

She strongly believes that art balances life. With colours and art, it engages a person's inner soul and nourishes growth on a much deeper level. Through the establishment of A Random Place since September 2018, Chi Yan and co-founder Geo strive to provide a space where we can take a breather and leave with many more new ideas and possibilities through their endless class and workshops such as mandala workshops, mandala drawings, watercolour drawings, calligraphy, journalling and many more collaborations with local artists.

Be sure to prepare a piece of art block and your preferred choice of colouring medium (such as colour pencils, crayons, water colour, colour markers or pens) and let's get started!

Title: Mindfulness With A Cup Of Coffee
Date: 30th October 2021 (Saturday)
Time: 2PM
Speaker: Sim Teong Chuan, Founder of Frad Coffee, Barista Trainer and Certified HRDF Trainer

Are you a coffee enthusiast? Hereโ€™s how you can be your very own coffee connoisseur in the comfort of your own home. Join us for a mindful coffee brewing session and learn how you can appreciate your cup of coffee more as well as the basic knowledge about coffee. Here's what to prepare!

1. Your choice of coffee.
If you have a coffee grinder, whole beans work amazing. If you don't, medium beans will suffice.
