Prepping for meal shouldn't be much of a hassle but to some it feels as if one might be climbing Mt. Everest! Take for example, our friend, Dash (pic in header) struggles between classes and prepping up a healthy meal for herself, because an easy meal in McDonald's equals to her giving up already *raises white flag*.

Dash really loves all things beauty and makeup and most of all she also has a strong passion for food. In her leisure time, she loves watching/learning recipe videos. Besides that, she loves to manage her personal social media account by creating posts by filming, photographing, and video editing. She is currently doing her final year degree in food science at TARUC and also starting her YouTube channel over 2 years ago talking about all things beauty and lifestyle.

So from there, you can see the balancing act of juggling between ever so difficult final year subjects and managing her own YouTube channel, cooking up healthy meals can be a tall task to ask for my a busy millennial like Dash herself. But through thick and thin, she still managed to come up with an easy 15 minute healthy and hearty Delicious Mix Nut Quinoa with cheese recipe for you guys today.

All you need are Signature Market's very own Hi 5 Trail mix, Organic White Quinoa and other key ingredients which we will later get into.


Organic White Quinoa Introduction
Quinoa (pronounced as KEEN-WAH) hasn't been really a staple in many Malaysian diets but that doesn't mean it should be ignored as it is one of the healthiest foods in the world. Quinoa is also gluten-free, high in protein and one of the few plant-based foods that contain all nine essential amino acids. It is also abundant in fiber, magnesium, B vitamins, iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin E and various beneficial antioxidants. They also come in a variety of colors besides white, ranging from black to purple.

Ok enough talk, let's dive into what Dash has in store for us! All you need are the ingredients listed below and only 15 minutes of your time to prep! You can also refer to the YouTube video attached to see Dash taking us along the process!



Ingredients needed:

- Signature Market Organic White Quinoa
- Signature Market Hi-5 Trail Mix
- Corn
- Bell Peppers
- Garlic
- Onion
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Cheddar Cheese
- Chicken Breast Meat
- Chili Powder
- Cumin Powder
- Lemon
- Chicken Broth

Steps:
1. Add olive oil into the hot pan

2. Add the ground chicken into the pan and seasoned it with some salt and pepper to your preference. Stir fry it until cook.

3. Pour in dice onions, garlic, bell peppers, corn and stir fry it for around one minute.

4. Add chili powder, stir it and add quinoa, diced tomato and broth (chicken/vege) inside the pan. Stir it equally.

5. Reduce the heat to medium low, close the lid and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.

6. After that, add shredded cheddar cheese into the pan and heat it up until the cheese melts.

7. End the dish with HI 5 trail mix.

And Voila! It is that simple! Last and easiest step is to enjoy your meal!
