Grand Total:

What does the washing symbols on your tags mean?

by Jennifer | 15 Jan 2018

Have you ever wondered the strange and small icons on the tags of your clothes mean? Or you just ignore them even though you are curious?

Well, either one, actually, they are very important labels which provide the correct washing, ironing and drying instructions. These labels can help you to maintain the quality of your garments and save your time and money effectively.

1. Washing Symbols--tell you how the garment should be washed
• The number inside the washtub: the maximum wash temperature.
• One line underneath the washtub: the garment should have mild treatment or washed using the Permanent Press setting.
• Two lines underneath the washtub: gentle or delicate treatment.

2. Tumble Dry Symbols--give information on tumble drying the garment
• The dots within a circle: the acceptable temperature range.

3. Iron Symbols--tell you how the garment should be ironed
• A series of dots: the acceptable temperature range for ironing.

4. Dry Clean Symbols--give information about how the garment should be dry cleaned
• A letter within the circle: the type of chemical that can be used.

5. Bleach Symbols--give information about whether it is safe to bleach the garment

You can check the symbols on the tags of your clothes with these tables, and care for your clothes in a better way.✌️✌️
I hope today’s blog can help you all, thanks for reading and have a good day!🌞
