Why Moms Are (Literally) Superheroes

Remember when we were in preschool and we’d get so excited when our mom would pack our lunches for us? They were intricate and just straight up adorable. From the delicately-cut fruits and veggies to the little smiley faces carefully arranged, they were just perfect. As kids, we must have been wondering how our mom had such an unruly amount of spare time on her hands. Though growing older, we have come to the realization that our mom is simply a Superwoman!

She would always make the time to be by our sides, no matter how busy she may be. Whether it be helping us with our homework, school projects, relationship problems or simply when we need someone to vent to, she would always be there for us. Sadly, many of us also spend the majority of our teenage years feeling embarrassed by our mom. Thankfully, life is cyclical and works in beautiful ways to bring loved ones together.

It gives us more time to realize, appreciate and embrace all that our moms do. From having that undeniable instinct that critics us in the best way possible yet protects us in more ways than we realize, they are just amazing. As much as we hate to admit it at times, she truly knows us best. Not only has she known us our entire lives, she herself has probably hit her rock bottom and reached her peak so trust us when we say this – Cherish and love her while she’s still around.
