This Pinktober, we’re celebrating the beauty and strength of the female body with professionally trained fashion illustrator, Lihuà. As an artist who draws so much inspiration from the female form, Lihuà explains her take on why celebrating Pinktober is important, saying “October is a month to highlight the experiences of breast cancer patients and survivors as well as those with a high risk or genetic predisposition for this disease. They all have stories and experiences to share from this journey, that’s why it’s important for them to feel connected and heard and to feel strong again.”

In conjunction with Pinktober 2022, we have invited 10 amazing, inspirational Malaysian women to join us for a guided painting session with Lihuà. All the paintings produced will be up for auction and proceeds will be donated to Cancer Research Malaysia to fund their research programmes. This painting titled “Blossom Lady” was painted by restaurateur and owner of Beni, Ultime Atelier and Boulangerie, Jen Tang.

Life is beautiful irregardless of the hardships we are facing. Stay strong and remain positive and resilient as nobody is alone in the fight against cancer.
