Welcome back to a new part of the Essential Oil guide. Have you ever checked the label of the essential oil? The country of origin is an important factor to evaluate a product and help in making purchase decisions. Every essential oil has its own origins. In the following parts, you’ll get to know where all the healing scent comes from.

Where are your essential oils made from?

Plant Origins essential oil blends are a mixture of pure essential oils without any diluents. Our essential oil blends like Good Night Sleep, Clean The Air, are carefully blended & manufactured in malaysia. While still using pure essential oils that are sourced from all over the world.

Why are the viscosity of essential oils different?
Viscosity is the quantity that describes a fluid's resistance to flow. To put it simply, it is how thick or thin the consistency of the liquid is. Each essential oil has a different viscosity. Citrus oils (Lemon, Lime, Orange and etc) are the lighter one while woody oils (Vetiver, Sandalwood, Cedarwood and etc) are thicker.
Yet, it doesn’t mean that essential oils with thinner viscosity are diluted. The lighter oils like citrus one are very “thin” oils. It is easier to pour and evaporate faster than woody oil. In contrast, woody oils with larger molecular structure makes them less volatile and hence, more aromatic and take a longer period of time to evaporate.

Why do the essential oils smell slightly richer / lighter compared to the previous one?
Harvest season plays a key role in the quality of essential oils. There is seasonal variation in essential oils composition. The major compounds in each plant are richer in certain seasons. Quality of essential oils depending on the harvest season. Therefore, the smell of different batches may be slightly different.

How many drops of essential oil should I add into my diffuser?
We recommend 3 - 4 drops into a below 100ml diffuser tank and 5-8 drops into a below 1000ml diffuser tank.
