Make It A Valentine's Week

Valentine's Day is finally here! Though if you were to ask me, appreciation towards a significant other should not be made to be extravagant for only one day in an entire year. Instead, we've rounded up an entire week of fun and exciting activities you could do to celebrate your loved one a little more during this special month.



February 7 - Roses
Typically, we' start the week with roses. It's just enough to entice your loved one while also expressing your love and gratitude for them in a sweet and subtle way. The colour of the roses also have a specific sentiment behind them. A red one symbolises romantic love while a yellow one symbolises a more mutual love such as friendship.

February 8 - Proposal
Just as the name suggests, this is the day people will usually verbally express their feelings to one another. If your loved one's love language is words of affirmation, this is definitely the day to spoil them a little more.

February 9 - Chocolates
As Forrest Gump once said, life is like a box of chocolates. So why not enjoy just that with your significant other. Girls, especially are known to have a sweet tooth so we assure you they'd appreciate this a whole lot.

February 10 - Plushies
Plush toys are often assumed to be kiddish. Let me tell you right here, right now that almost all adults still love a good plush toy. Girls typically like your standard teddy bear while guys like something where they can actually associate with. Think a character from their favourite show like Grogu or Baby Groot.

February 11 - Promises
This day is all about committing to one another in making your relationship last. Here's to pinky promising your forever with your loved one.

February 12 - Hugs
When words just don't seem to explain how you're feeling, a good ol' hug can definitely solve or at least, de-escalate the situation. After all, there's nothing like a warm hug to make everything better.

February 13 - Kisses
Seal your love with a kiss today. If yours or your loved ones's love language is physical touch, you'd definitely appreciate this. Express your affection the best way, we know.

February 14 - Valentine's Day
Ah, the day of love. Well, we're sure you already have your own plans on this day. But in case you're still cracking your head on date ideas, we'd recommend going to a theme park, cafe hopping or even just a simple romantic home-cooked dinner. Anything works really, as long as you're both spending quality time together.
