Rich, honey-sweet and smoky, our delicious local sweetener makes a guest appearance in our sweet take on oat cookies. Made with heart and gut-friendly oats flakes, these cookies are melt-in-your mouth good and have the distinctive fragrance that’s only achievable with the sticky sweet palm sugar. Gula Melaka is traditionally made from the sap of flower buds of the coconut palm and is believed to have originated from Malacca, hence its name. The gula Melaka used in our Gula Melaka Oat Flake Cookies was sourced directly from its birthplace, a famous gula Melaka manufacturer from Jonker Street. With a taste that’s a hybrid between a deep caramel and mellow butterscotch, this is a cookie that will comfort your taste buds as much as it will your stomach.

What Does This Taste Like?
