Muesli is often likened to granola, but there’s actually a minor difference between the two as muesli is typically the more natural and healthier option with less sugar content and a shorter baking process to retain more nutrients. By choosing muesli as your go-to breakfast, you’re choosing to avoid eating a more fattening or sugary option and thus saving your waistline. Muesli is also easy to prepare and versatile enough to be served hot or cold. Just incorporate it into your meal as an overnight oat base that can be eaten cold or warm.

Health Benefits
1. Berries are rich in anthocyanins, which can protect corneal epithelial cells against light-induced retinal injury.
2. High vitamin C content and anthocyanin from strawberry. Strawberries are particularly rich in chemical compounds called anthocyanins. Anthocyanin in strawberries has links to a lower risk of a type of heart attack known as myocardial infarction. The flavonoid quercetin, which is also present in strawberries, is a natural anti-inflammatory that appears to reduce the risk of atherosclerosis.
3. Excellent source of vitamins A, B, C, E and K as well as manganese, folate (vitamin B9), vitamin B6, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin and potassium. Folate content is beneficial for pregnant women and the elderly.
4. Helps to regulate blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
5. Oats are good sources of good carbs and fibre. Contains a soluble fibre called Beta-Glucan that helps control cholesterol levels and lowers risk of cardiovascular disease. It also promotes the growth of good bacteria in the gut and may helps relieve constipation.
6. Very filling and promotes satiety to help you lose weight. Oats contain a ton of resistant starch, making muesli an extremely filling breakfast that takes a long time to digest. As the resistant starch is broken down in your stomach, digestive acids that suppress your appetite are released and your metabolism speeds up, so you’ll burn more calories in less time.
7. Beneficial for oral health as cranberries prevent bacteria from binding to teeth and prevents the onset of gum disease. Cranberries may also help to prevent UTIs.

Usage Directions
Open packet and consume.

How To Consume
Soak muesli in plant-based milk or water for about 10 minutes. For softer cereal, soak overnight.
No cooking required, just add hot water or desired hot beverage to Berrylicious Muesli. Soak for 5 minutes and serve.
