Chinese traditional medicine has been known to have a soup for everything and anything, be it to cure an illness, warm the body or simply just to enhance beauty. But why brew different soups for different purposes when you can have all the nutrition you need in one bowl? 6 Herbs Soup or otherwise known as Lok Mei Soup or Liu Wei Tang is one such soup. With a delicate clear broth that will whet any appetite, this soup helps to cool down the body and reduce internal heatiness of the body system. Not only does it nourish the body with a potent combination of 6 traditional Chinese herbs, it also helps to boost spleen function, improve appetite and enhance your complexion. While most traditional recipes call for it to be boiled with some form of meat, it’s also possible to transform it into a dessert soup! Just exclude meat and add rock sugar into the pot while boiling and voila - a flavourful dessert that’s great for your health and taste buds.

Health Benefits

Usage Directions
1. Blanch chicken meat or add rock sugar into boiling water (OPTIONAL: You may choose to replace chicken with any meat you prefer or choose to not include meat at all).
2. Pour the soup pack ingredients and meat into a pot of water (2 litres) and bring to boil on high heat.
3. Once the soup is boiled, lower the heat and allow it to simmer for another 1 hour 30 minutes.
4. Season with salt according to your preference and let it simmer for another 10 minutes before serving.
*Serves 4-5 persons.
